Sam Vlessing is a founder and operator based in Toronto. He founded Commercebear, a venture backed software company in the tech-resistant, underserved furniture vertical. Bootstrapped before raising $15M from top US and Canadian investors, he built a team of 50 and scaled go-to-market from inception into a $500M+ GMV platform. He has been named a Forbes Canada Best Startup Employer and Furniture Today Best Technology 3x. Sam is also a Home Furnishings 40u40 honoree for his contributions to the industry.

Sam played D1 varsity soccer in college and was captain of his high school team 4x. He cares about family, longevity, and building a life optimized for happiness.
